By Eric Fantin – The Wheels Of Italy car shows appear to have been successfully restarted after the Covid era with another WHEELS ON BROADWAY show in downtown Robbinsdale on September 8. I was able to join with my 1960 Fiat 2100 sedan as one of the older cars (shown below with its hood open on the far right).

There were a bevy of Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ferrari, a lone Lancia (Lancia Beta), Maserati, De Tomaso and Lamborghini cars. In addition many Vespas and Lambrettas were on hand with several Ducatis and Moto Guzzis.

Several cars were worth mentioning! From stunning Alfa Duettos, (one in a very appealing factory green), to a very nice Giulia Berlina from a known InterMarque member. There was a beautiful GTV6, an outlandish Lamborghini Countach, and an amazing De Tomaso Pantera to round out this year’s highlights. There were a mix of older cars and more recent models.
I hope to see more older models at next year’s show.
