Keg and Case Cars and Coffee event off to a good start. Returns on Sept. 27

-John Engstrom-  The Keg & Case event was good. The attendance went well for a first time event and I would expect it to be even better on September 27th. It’s nice to have an event in St. Paul as there are not very many of them as it is now. The venue seems to be a good one. I did not personally go into the Keg & Case building but it is a large space. There were quite a few cars there and a few I had not seen before. They had three Fiats which were nice to see and a couple of Citroën “wagons” as well as a 2CV show up. I noticed a Ferrari and an Alfa there.

What I liked was that it drew in cars of many marques. The parking was ample for the event with room to grow. Cars seemed to come, stay a while, then leave only to replaced by other cars. So, it was nice to see a turnover. The parking turned out not to be an issue at all since the Keg & Case told Aaron to just go ahead and use the whole parking lot. No city streets had to be blocked off, The city had put out barriers to be used but never put any “No Parking” signs out for the block. So, by using the existing parking lot, the was no expense involved. Aaron was even thinking that next year there could be not only this Sunday event but it would be possible to have an evening event once in a while. This could be fun since the there is the option to shop while others TALK shop.

NEXT EVENT: Sunday, Sept. 27 – 7:30-noon, Keg and Case, 928 West Seventh Street, St. Paul, 55102 Indoor restrooms, coffee, and breakfast treats are available on-site.
