InterMarque Sunday picnics
2019 was a bad year for the last Sunday of the month InterMarque picnics. June and September had gully-washer thunderstorms. July and August were visited by threats of heavy mist, and no one showed. Was it the rain, the fact that no club hosted any of the picnics, or the number of diseased trees chopped down in Cherokee Park? Will the picnics return in 2020?
The September 8 Wheels of Italy show also featured high humidity. Nevertheless quite a few cars and people showed up. More cars than their middle of the week downtown Pazzaluna show but fewer people. I don’t know whose Alfa that is in the picture but its top was never erected. Maybe trying to emulate British rust?
